for swimmers and parents!

suggested list of things to bring to a swim meet:
Team suit, cap and googles (%)
Team tee shirt (%)
Shorts or sweat pants
Sweat shirt
Change of clothes
Towel
Water or sports drink (%)
Snacks: ie fruit cups, popcorn, bagels, nutritional
bars
Sports chair
Deck of cards
Hand held games (*)
MP3 players (*)
Coloring books, paper and crayons
Parents:
Keep in mind that parents are not allowed on deck at US Swim meets.
Swim meets usually last between 2 and 4 hours per session, depending upon the
number of entries.
Concession stands are usually available at meets.
Swimmers:
Keep in mind that at a swim meet you are representing Thames Aquatic Club. As a
TAC swimmer, it is not only your goal to have fun, but it is your
responsibility to have good sportmanship and behave
in a polite and courteous manner.
