Thames Aquatic Club is a private, parent governed, not for profit organization serving the swimming needs of Southeastern Connecticut. Since it's inception in 2008, Thames Aquatic Club has provided New London and its neighboring communities with a swim program designed to encourage fun, friendship and fast swimming.
Mission Statement
The Mission of Thames Aquatic Club is to provide an avenue for success in life through discipline, time management and results through hard work. Thames Aquatic Club believes in character building with hard work and dedication in the pool. We encourage a respect for teammates, coaches and all members involved with the swimming community and beyond. With these five points in mind, Thames Aquatic Club strives for excellence, both in and out of the water.
Thames Aquatic Club also encourages hard work and dedication from the coaching staff and family members to provide a positive role model base. Respect is achieved by the swimmers, by observing the work and dedication of each member of the team, whether it is a teammate, coach or parent. 
Practice Location: Lott Natatorium, Connecticut College, New London, CT
The Jane Cadwell Lott Natatorium is one of the finest aquatic facilities in the nation. Known for its breathtaking view of the Thames River, the aquatic facility includes a 37 1/2 meter, eight-lane stretch pool with moveable bulkhead, as well as two one-meter and one three-meter diving board.
